The Bhimnath - Dholera Freight Rail Line, a 24.4 km broad-gauge line is currently in progress from the existing Western Railway station of Bhimnath on the Ahmedabad – Botad Broad Gauge Line, that would connect Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) to facilitate logistics movement of DSIR industries, further integrating it into national and global supply chains. Additionally, a semi high-speed rail line is also planned from Ahmedabad along the expressway to facilitate mass passenger movement.
