Dholera International Airport Company Limited
Dholera International Airport Company Limited (DIACL), a Special Purpose Vehicle formed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), the Government of Gujarat, and the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT), aims to develop an aviation hub of the highest standards of excellence, handling both cargo and passenger operations while driving economic growth and infrastructure development in the Dholera Special Investment Region.
Situated about 100 km from Ahmedabad, the Dholera International Airport is strategically positioned near the Dholera Special Investment Region, which forms an essential part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. Located at Navagam, just 20 km from Dholera, this greenfield airport will be connected to the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway through a dedicated approach road.
Mission
DIACL shall develop a Greenfield International Airport to serve the logistic requirements of Dholera Special Investment Region. Dholera Airport would be the second airport for Ahmedabad which will propel the airport lead economic development in the entire region
Vision
Dholera Airport shall be one of the major airports of the company having two parallel world class runways and matching infrastructure. Dholera Airport shall emerge as a major cargo handler, spoke-hub model Airport and transit airport for international airlines. In line with other Aerotropolis worldwide, Dholera airport shall give opportunity to develop allied aviation industries such as MRO, aviation academy, simulations, pilot training center etc.
